May 13, 2010, Victoria, Australia – Home Builders of Victoria are determined to big winners based from the 2010 State Budget with an analysis of the latest and comprehensive first home bonuses for new home construction predicting an extra 24,300 Victorian jobs in the next financial year.
According to the Premier, John Brumby, the Housing Industry Association has been foresee a numbers of job opportunities for the home builders in Australia. From the figures reported that 30,000 jobs addition will run from the $9.5 billion investment in job-creating infrastructure in the 2010 State Budget
“Our extra first home bonuses will help young families into their first homes, create thousands of jobs for home builders and increase Victoria’s housing supply,” Mr Brumby said.
According to Mr Brumby that almost 3452 Victorians has recently bought their first home for sale deal with the help and guide from the Victorian Government in April and 14,179 first homes for sale have been purchased in view of the fact that it is only start of this year. Because of the First Home Owners bonus, first time home owners from Victoria has been increasing and has accounted for more than 25 per cent of all First Homes purchased over the past year across Australia. The total number of homes for sale that has been sold is up by 1585 compared to this time in 2007 and up by 1656 compared to this time in 2008.
Housing Industry Association Victorian Executive Director Gil King give their congratulations to the Government on restraining the increase to recently built homes in a bid to help out increase Victoria’s housing stock.
